Chara Karteri, an air stewardess working for an airline based in Greece, said: “I have noticed that a lot of travel companies these days are pushing for a more green travel.
“In my work, we have been working with aircrafts that are emission neutral, to help with the overall problem cause by commercial travel.
“It is very impressive that technology these days can do that, and I do think that this will help a lot.”
Home- Amy McLemont, Scotland.
Amy McLemont, a Glaswegian working in the city center, said: “I have been taking my bike to work for some time now.
“I truly enjoy cycling to work as it is a great exercise and it helps to save money as well.
“It is more efficient too, since I do not have to wait for trains in the morning, and I can really plan my commute time.
“The one tip that I can give to anyone thinking of cycling to work is to build more confidence cycling on the road when it is not rush hour and also study and abide to the rules of the road as much as possible, to be safer.”
