With the spookiest night of the year mere days away, this year’s fancy-dress festivities are set to be a treat, as Halloween lovers across the globe stock up on the fake blood, fangs, and face masks, in preparation for October 31st.
While for some, Halloween night is a chance to relax, cozy up in a warm blanket, and watch horror films, for ex-supermodel Heidi Klum, it’s the biggest night of the year.
In Hollywood, Klum’s larger-than-life costumes, and exclusive, star-studded Los Angeles Halloween parties have cemented the former ‘Project Runway’ host’s reputation as hallow-queen. The model’s celebrations, nowadays, are as much of a tradition as carving pumpkins or dunking for apples.
Sadly, the pandemic has forced Klum to cancel the event for a second year-running, but, judging from her recent Instagram posts, that certainly doesn’t mean the television personality is planning on backing down this year.

5. Butterfly, 2014
Klum’s 15th annual Halloween party, which she threw back in 2014, saw the former model take flight as a butterfly, in one of her most extravagant looks yet. Soaring high up above the event’s other costumes, Heidi was painted head-to-toe in blue paint, paired with insect-esque accessories, prosthetics, and massive wings.
4. Werewolf, 2017
In 2017, Klum sought out inspiration from the iconic ‘Thriller’ music video. The former ‘America’s Got Talent’ judge took a walk on the wild side with her look, terrifying guests and turning heads as the Werewolf in Jackson’s famous video. Complete with fangs, a mane, and a varsity jacket nearly identical to the video’s own, Klum’s homage to the king of pop was all killer no filler.
3. Old Heidi, 2013
In one of her most unconventional costumes yet, the mother-of-four leisurely sauntered onto 2013’s red carpet looking as if she had just stepped out of a time machine, as the unrecognisable supermodel had aged 40 years into the future. Although she needed a walking stick to get through the party, Klum still managed to dance the night away, proving age is just a number.
2. Superhero, 2010
Halloween 2010 was a groundbreaking night for Klum, who managed to outdo every costume she had worn up to that point in her most supersized look yet. The television personality really thought out of the box, when she shocked guests by dressing as a superhero action figure. The German-born star was armoured up in a bright red super-suit, complete with glittery purple skin, and a set of stilts that sent her towering over guests.
1. Heidi Clones, 2016
Heidi’s best look, however, came in 2016, when the star’s clone spectacular had everyone seeing double. Heidi, herself, dressed fairly simplistic. She wore a nude leotard with normal hair and makeup. In true Klum fashion, however, the superstar had something else up her sleeve, as she shook guests to their core, when she was accompanied by not one, not two, but five other identical versions of herself. Each of Heidi’s twins had worn prosthetics to look exactly like the model, proving a good Halloween costume is sometimes a six-man job.
