City of Glasgow College Principal Paul Little was elated with the student press conference that welcomed guest speaker UNOPS Executive Director Grete Faremo to the college.

With a host of world leaders gathering in Glasgow for the COP26 summit, Grete Faremo visited the city campus to share her views and opinions in regards to climate change and the work of the United Nations Office for Project Services.

Principal Paul Little said City was a “beacon” for other institutions to follow suit: “The college have reduced their carbon footprint by a third and we recycle all of our waste with an electric fleet.”
