Playoffs Still Hopeful for Glasgow Clan Three Players That Have Made it Possible.

Despite a narrow victory by the Steeler’s against the Glasgow Clan 3-2 in overtime. Glasgow Clan still has a hope of a playoff place this season.

The games have been cut down to two a week for the Clan to catch up, and with restrictions lifted. The Purple Army will be cheering on the Clan to reach the Playoffs.

All the team has played exceptionally hard to keep the playoffs dream alive, however, three players have gone above and beyond to keep the Clan in the chase.

Shane Starrett

The 27-year-old netminder from the United States has come on in leaps and bounds to save the Clan's goals of reaching the Playoffs. He has faced many attacks and power plays from opposing teams and has come up on top, making saves from the puck when needed.

Although not perfect and has made a few mistakes this season. The pressure he has faced, and his adversity in facing it has allowed Shane to test his mettle time and time again and has allowed him to prove he has a place as the Clans netminder

Colton Yellow Horn:

This 34-year-old Canadian has more than done his part this season, providing both goals and just as many assists. Colton is a real team player that has helped in the Clans season. He has the awareness to set up a goal just as much as shoot at one, which has assisted in the Clans goal tally which is one of the reasons for the Clans rise into the playoff position, and if he keeps on this form a playoff place is not an impossibility.

Mathieu Roy:

At 35 years old this Canadian still has a fight left in him as he is in the right place most times to score goals. Often on the ice with his fellow Canadian, Colton Yellow Horn; they have proven to be a formidable Hockey partnership. Like Colton, Mathieu has had his share of assists, as well as goals. With Mathieu Roy and Colton Yellow Horn working in tandem, there is no reason why the Clan cannot only reach the playoffs but do quite well in the competition.

The old saying comes into play here: ‘nothing is set in stone’ however, these three with the rest of the team have surprised not only their fans but the fans of other teams as well.
