Newcomers Kelty Hearts, who are now under the management of John Potter after the resignation of Kevin Thomson, will welcome newly named FC Edinburgh to New Central Park.
Formerly named Edinburgh City, the Citizens announced on Thursday night their new name and club badge, ahead of what will also be their maiden season in the third tier.
Dunfermline Athletic, now managed by former Dundee manager James McPake, will be targeting an automatic return to the Championship after suffering relegation via. the play-offs last season. They are set to welcome Alloa Athletic to East End Park.
In addition, Queen of the South, who will be making their return to the third tier after nine consecutive seasons in the Championship, will also kick-off the new season at home, facing Clyde at Palmerston Park.
The Bully Wee, having now left Broadwood Stadium, will be ground-sharing at New Douglas Park, home of Championship side Hamilton Academical from next season. They will welcome Peterhead to their new home on the second weekend.
Airdrieonians, who lost out on promotion to Queenβs Park in the promotion play-off final, also have a new man in charge with player-manager Rhys McCabe replacing Ian Murray, who departed to join Championship side Raith Rovers.
