Yuki Tsunoda Keeps his Seat for the 2023 Season

AlphaTauri have announced that they’ve reached an agreement with 22-year-old Japanese driver Yuki Tsunoda, who will stay with them for one more season.

After much speculation on who was going to take the reminding AlphaTauri seat and drive next to Pierre Gasly next season, the team issued a statement earlier today announcing the new contract with the youngster.

Tsunoda joined the team in 2021, where he had an impressive first season, scoring 32 points and finishing fourth in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix last December. However, despite struggling to get the points after the Spanish Grand Prix, the team have said he has the pace and there’s room for improvement.
