Elite Ice Hockey League top 6 of the week
In a busy weekend of ice hockey in the EIHL, here are the six players who caught the eye and some honourable mentions too.
Netminder - Ben Bowns, Cardiff Devils
Bowns completed the weekend with a shutout, saving all 20 shots he faced against the Fife Flyers on Sunday. This was the second game of the weekend after a hard game on Saturday against the Guildford Flames where he replaced Tyler Wall and let up three goals in the Challenge Cup tie in Cardiff.
Defence - Reece Kelly, Glasgow Clan
The young Scot had a great weekend for the Clan where he put up a player of the game performance on Sunday against the Manchester Storm during the 4-3 win for the Clan. Kelly also had a solid game on the road on Saturday against treble-holders Belfast Giants.

Defence - Marcus Crawford, Cardiff Devils
Crawford started the weekend on the end of a 7-5 loss against the Guildford Flames where he put up three points by scoring a goal and getting two assists throughout the game for the Devils. He was back in action on Sunday night when the Devils shutout the Fife Flyers and he would also add to his points tally by getting an assist on a goal throughout the 6-0 win.
Forward - Cole Ully, Cardiff Devils
Cole Ully started the weekend quietly on Saturday night registering zero points against the Guildford Flames. Ully then bounced back on Sunday night against the Fife Flyers where he scored a hat-trick and also won player of the game for the Devils in their 6-0 win in Cardiff.
Forward - Kohei Sato, Belfast Giants
Sato was a standout over the weekend as he started with three points on Saturday against the Clan, where he scored two goals and got an assist in the game on Saturday. He also contributed with a goal on the road against Nottingham on Sunday night, when the Giants won 4-2.

Forward - Kim Tallberg, Coventry Blaze
Tallberg was a standout in Coventry’s 4-2 win over the Dundee Stars in Coventry. He put up two goals and an assist in the victory as the Blaze got back to winning ways in the league.

Netminder - Tyler Beskorowany, Belfast Giants
Beskorowany started the weekend with a 5-1 win and a 92.86 save percentage against the Glasgow Clan. He then followed up on Sunday with a 4-2 win and 93.10 save percentage against the Nottingham Panthers.

Defence - Bradley Lalonde, Guildford Flames
Lalonde started the weekend with a 7-5 win over the Cardiff Devils, where he created four goals throughout the game.
Forward - Ryan Tait, Guildford Flames
Tait started the weekend with three goals against the Cardiff Devils in Guildford’s 7-5 cup victory. On Sunday, Tait added to his goals when he got another during the 6-2 loss to the Sheffield Steelers.
