February 25th saw the return of a wonderful neighbourhood tradition that is Strathbungo’s Window Wanderland. The art trail sees residents dress up their windows with various artistic creations, illuminated designs and even includes some live performances.

Located on the south side of Glasgow, Strathbungo is a residential area that over the years has come together to put on various local events.

The Window Wanderland, however, had been put on hold over the past two years due to the COVID pandemic. But, now back again for its fifth year - Strathbungo’s residents did not disappoint.

Peter Ross, from The Guardian, said: “A glorious psychedelic playground...a retina-shredding explosion of pop-culture”.

The event was free for all to come by and visit and included street performances from musical talents which could be heard streets away.

The event was a smashing success and brought together neighbouring communities for a fun-filled night for both family and friends. Crowds filled the streets between the hours of 6 pm to 9 pm and based on the turnout we’ll be sure to see more events like this in the future.
