Sugo specialises in traditional Italian pasta dishes and makes use of authentic, fresh ingredients to achieve a taste that is catered to the region that each recipe comes from. The mixed salad is a favourite and incredibly flavourful and pairs perfectly with the selection of pasta available.

The Sugo experience is walk-in only, and the venue seats over 200 people, according to the Sugo official website. This environment might deter some; however, the quick turnover in tables allows many customers to sit down and enjoy a meal.

The menu is compact and precise, with a list of ten pasta dishes and a small selection of sides. Featured specials are also available, and desserts for those with a sweet tooth. The dining experience comes at a fair price that will satisfy those who want a quick meal perfect for friends and family.

Voted best venue in 2022 by the OnTrade Scotland Awards, Buck’s Bar’s southern aesthetic, filled with rock and roll memorabilia, makes for an enjoyable setting to eat and drink. Buck’s Bar hosts live music every Saturday from 8 pm (Southside location excluded).

Hot for those who enjoy the fresh chilli heat. Damn Hot, enough to get anyone who tries its nose running and Double XX for the chilli fanatics who only want the hottest.
