Glasgow's Halloween events

With Halloween around the corner, many exciting events are happening in Glasgow this year, from parties to themed activities. Here are some of the top picks over the next two weeks.

Manuka Haunted House Party

Manuka is hosting a haunted house party Saturday, 26 October, for those who are fans of drinking and a scare.

Zander Nation Bounce Bingo

Zander Nation Bounce Bingo is having a Halloween edition in the west end; a fun night for all fans of bounce bingo with a Halloween twist.

Moskito Rocky Horror Brunch

Moskito are hosting a Rocky Horror Picture Show brunch on Saturday 26 October. All who are fans of the film or the musical are sure to have fun time.

Fawkes Festival

Fawkes festival at Dean Country Park  on 3 November includes fireworks, entertainment, fairground rides, food and drink and is for all ages, a family night enjoyed for all.

Glasglow

The Botanic Gardens will host Glasglow from 25 October to 10 November, the UK’s biggest Halloween event is back for all ages to visit.

Brat Halloween rave

The Classical Grand will host a Brat Halloween Rave on 25 October. Brat summer may be over but doesn’t mean brat Halloween can’t be a thing.

Flight club spooky brunch

Flight Club on George St Glasgow will host a spooky brunch on the 26 October and 27 October, with devilish cocktails offered on arrival, tickets are selling out fast.                                                                                                  

Glasgow Cathedral Dark Side Tour

Glasgow Cathedral will host the Dark Side tour from 31 October to 3 November, where you can learn about the last hanging in Glasgow, the city’s grave robbers and more,  a both spooky and historical event.

Pumpkin Pottery

The Craft Pottery Studio on Washington Street are offering hand building pottery pumpkins sessions on 26 October, it might not be your typical pumpkin but it’s certainly a unique one that lasts longer.

Cineworld Halloween Screenings

Cineworld are re-releasing Saw, Hocus Pocus and The Nightmare on Elm Street over the course of the Halloween season with a showing each day of at least one of these films. 

Halloween Workshops: Hand-Building Ghost Incense Burner

A Halloween workshop based in on Washington street, on 26 and 29 October lets people create their own ghost designed incense for £40 per person. Even if pottery is a new experience there’s a guide to help create the incense and the product will be complete in 3 weeks.

Loch Lomond Faerie Trail

A pumpkin patch and spooky walk in Loch Lomond, takes place from 4 to 31 October. It is £7.50 per ticket. Tickets for the pumpkin patch are £9.50, and children under 1 go for free. In this experience you walk through an eerie forest while finding clues and solving a mystery the trail leads on to faerie farm. You are then able to buy pumpkins from the pumpkin patch and carve spooky faces into them.

Science centre Fancy Dress

Scotland’s biggest family fancy dress party returns to Glasgow Science Centre on Friday 25 October from 6pm-9pm. Tickets are £12.50 and under 3’s get to go for free. Many treats will be handed out and it will be a great opportunity to meet new people.

Be-BOP-BAIRNS

Halloween party for all the family on 26 October from 12.30pm to 3pm. For an adult ticket it is £8 and for children its £9 and babies go completely free. The party has games, a disco, and a Halloween parade and best dressed prizes, so make sure to dress up. Face painting is available and arts and crafts.

R-CADE Shaun Of The Dead Zombie Party

R-Cade will host a Shaun of the Dead themed party, where everyone is encouraged to dress up as their favourite Shaun of the Dead character or just dress up as a zombie and Cornetto’s will be handed out to ticket owners. To play in the arcade you have to be 18+. Tickets cost £16 and the event is 7pm-9pm.
