Top 10 vegan and vegetarian places in Glasgow

When we think of Glaswegian cuisine, a fair assumption would be that it is somewhat lacking when it comes to meat-free and plant-based options. However, this assumption is wrong.  In fact, in 2022 Glasgow World revealed that Glasgow ranked fourth in the UK when it came to vegan friendly options.  And with more people turning away from the carnivore diet, people are always looking for scrumptious meals and snacks to satisfy their cravings.

Below is a list of vegan and vegetarian options in Glasgow guaranteed to have you licking your lips!

Blue Lagoon

A chippy is a comfort food classic! There’s nothing better than sinking your teeth into deep-fried, crispy salty food after a night out in the town. But a lot of the time, the only options for vegetarians and vegans is a portion of chips which is tasty, but not exactly filling. Blue Lagoon has got that dilemma covered with their super tasty vegan sausage supper! It’s delicious, crispy and is always made fresh.
