Hearts’ Erin Husband and Kilmarnock’s Abby Robinson have been announced as the winners of the SWPL1 and SWPL2 Player of the Month awards.

2008-born Husband scoops up her first award with the Jambos after signing her first professional contract with the club in the summer.

She has played 11 games so far this season, playing the full 90 minutes in nine of those, and keeping a clean sheet in seven.

Her club won every league game they played in October, not conceding a single goal. Husband played a pivotal part in this, playing 266 minutes across all three fixtures.

In the league below, the SWPL2, Robinson has gotten her hands on the award after enjoying a great month with Killie.

She bagged two goals and has one assist to her name, with her side winning all three games in October.

The month was made all the more enjoyable for Kilmarnock and their supporters as in one of those games, they managed to get an astonishing 8-1 win over rivals Ayr United.

They now sit second in the SWPL2 as they fight for promotion to the top-flight of Scottish women’s football.
