Raith Rovers and Dundee United play tomorrow at Starks Park. The last time these two came head-to-head it was a very tight game with Raith only winning by fine margins. A single goal was all that separated the teams  at Tannadice before Christmas.

Raith will be looking for victory again as they are currently four points behind Dundee United.

Dundee United are going to make this very hard for them as they have won two out of their last three games and have sold out their away allocation. 3,000 travelling fans, just under half of the ground’s capacity are going to be United fans which will make it feel more at home for Jim Goodwin’s men.

The next fixture to look out for would be Falkirk v Hamilton.

Another top of the table battle, this time in League One. Falkirk host Hamilton and could move 11 points clear of the Accies who are wanting to do the opposite and give Falkirk no breathing space at all.

Despite Hamilton being second they only have six points out of a possible 12 in their last four league games whereas Falkirk have won all four  making it that wee bit harder for Hamilton.

Due to their recent run of form fans have turned against manager John Rankin. Most notably chanting “Rankin out,” After a 3-2 defeat to Annan on Saturday. But owner Seref Zengin  has urged to fans that getting a new manager is the last thing on his mind and will stick with Rankin especially for a tough game like Saturday’s clash.

Last time around at New Douglas Park Falkirk brought 2000 away fans for their 3-1win and it is looking most likely as on their website there isn’t many tickets left in the main stand.

The final fixture to top it all is the women’s Old Firm derby.

Rangers currently sit top of the SWPL with 56 points as Celtic are creeping up on them with 52.

With Celtic just behind they are hoping to close the gap just that wee bit. There will also be a bit of revenge here as they last met in the league cup semi-final where Rangers narrowly won 3-2.

Rangers haven’t won the league since 2021 and Celtic were runners up last season which makes this game and this season that bit better as both teams will be fighting for first.
