The Super Bowl brings a lure of excitement every single year, not only is it the highlight of the NFL season but it is a sporting and cultural phenomenon. It is fuelled with passion, drama, and extreme intensity as the teams attempt to be crowned kings of the NFL.

Sunday night's game brings two very evenly matched teams who have both fought and clawed their way through the play-offs to reach the biggest game in the sport.

The San Francisco 49ers look to win their 6th Super Bowl, having defeated the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions to reach the final. Their impressive record across the season has made them slight favourites to pick up the trophy which makes for an interesting battle come Sunday.

One man has been highlighted recently as a real threat to the Chiefs’ chances at glory. Quarterback, Brock Purdy, is in outstanding form this season. He brings league-leading statistical play, a coolness under pressure and two fourth-quarter comeback play-off wins this year, which could well be the difference in such a tightly contested affair.

The Kansas City Chiefs will go into this match full of confidence having appeared in three of the last four Super Bowls. The reigning champions will conclude another excellent campaign with an opportunity to win yet another Super Bowl title.

The Chiefs have lost just six of 18 in the schedule, including a match against the Buffalo Bills, who they went on to defeat in the divisional play-off round last month. The Chiefs then completed their road to the Super Bowl with a victory away to top-seed Baltimore Ravens in the Conference Championship game.

It’s no secret who the key player who is going to be for the Chiefs. Not only is quarterback Patrick Mahomes the best player in the NFL, in recent years he has arrived on the global stage as one of the world's most talented athletes. Patrick Mahomes has proven he is a fierce leader, an excellent quarterback and a serial winner, as he looks to take the Chiefs all the way for the 4th time in their illustrious history.

Known for producing legendary moments year upon year, during the halftime show, top artists and performers look to give the fans in the stadium and around the world an experience they’ll never forget. This year will be no different, headlined by The King of R&B Usher and with rumoured appearances from popular stars like Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber, it promises to be a show to remember.

The outcome of Super Bowl LVII at this point remains a mystery, but one thing we know for sure is that there will be plenty of drama and emotion at this monumental event in Las Vegas. So will the Kansas City Chiefs overcome the odds and achieve ultimate glory for the 4th time, or will the San Francisco 49ers continue their dominance this season and be crowned kings of the NFL for the 6th time? That question will be answered this Sunday live from Las Vegas as Super Bowl LVII comes to a head.
