The fixtures worth watching as Scottish football returns from the international break

Dundee United v Raith Rovers
On the last occasion these two met it was a cagey 2-1 win for Raith at Starks Park, won by a thunderous volley from super-sub, Scott Brown in the 89th minute.
These two reconvene on Saturday, but this time at Tannadice Park where United hope to get back at the Rovers.
United are currently one point clear of Raith, however, they do have a game in hand so if they manage to take the three points, they will go two points clear with a possibility to make that five.
Raith may have to fight without the usually grand backing of many of their fans to give them a push as United decided to leave 30% of the away allocation unavailable for ticket purchases.
Despite this, the Kirkcaldy fans still managed to sell out their ticket allocation within two hours. But in order to win, Raith will have to best United on a mental and physical front.
Dumbarton v Stenhousemuir
Despite a poor run of form in recent games, Stenhousemuir are still holding onto their position at the top of the League Two standings.
They travel to Dumbarton on Saturday, hopeful of taking all three points and bagging further comfort at the top end of the table.
Dumbarton on the other hand, have won four out of their last six games and are currently sitting joint second with Peterhead, whom they also managed to beat earlier this month.
Although this is a big game for Stenhousemuir as it can make them go 18 points clear, it’s possibly an even bigger one for Dumbarton as Peterhead face Clyde, who they are a shoo-in to defeat.
A win for Dumbarton is the preferred result for neutrals as it will reinstate them back into the title fight, giving the fans a dramatic finish to the season.
Montrose v Falkirk
The meeting between Montrose and Falkirk could be the biggest game of the weekend as the Bairns side could seal the League One title.
In order to mathematically secure the title, Hamilton need to lose in their game against Queen of the South, and Falkirk need to win.
Some fans are in doubt of Falkirk beating Montrose, though as the club is currently experiencing a shortage in wins and some of the players haven’t won the fans’ full support.
Accies are set to take on Queen of the South who claimed a 2-0 win over third-place, Alloa in their last league outing and will no doubt be confident in taking on second-place, Hamilton.
If things go Falkirk’s way this weekend, it will bring an end to their six-year-long wait to get back in the Championship, having been relegated in the 2018/19 season.
