The UK has issued a travel warning to anyone planning on visiting North America, this has been announced after Rebecca Burke from the UK was held and detained for 19 days in the US when she tried to enter the country, and she was sent home to the UK in chains. Her father said, “like Hannibal Lecter”. Germany and France have also had similar incidents regarding people from these countries being denied entry into the country or being arrested and detained.
This is due to Trump being back in office and announcing a number of immigration-related executive orders that focus on stricter border policy’s, tighter visa vetting procedures and a crackdown on undocumented migrants in the United States.
The UK’s current travel advice is "You should comply with all entry, visa and other conditions of entry. The authorities in the US set and enforce entry rules strictly. You may be liable to arrest or detention if you break the rules."

Trump said in a Fox News interview on Wednesday that the European Union was created to “screw” the US and that the EU has “raped and pillaged” America.
All of this leads to people who have already got trips to America feeling worried and scared of what is possible of happening when they are in the country as even the littlest mistake on visas can cause a huge impact on your trip. European countries have also made it clear that even if you do have a visa, you are not guaranteed entry to the US
Summer is just around the country and with that many people from the UK will be getting ready to be part of Camp America, all of this mayhem will be causing worries for the people taking part in this especially first timers as for a lot of people this could be their first time in America or first time traveling to America alone which is a worry enough. Now with all these visa issues it causes more stress on these people who may already have enough stress to deal with.
