5 educational Minecraft maps
While Minecraft is most known for its childlike building experiences and questing to build houses and portals to Hell to fight demons and dragons in the Nether. Another feature that Minecraft taps into is its interest in education and 3D environmental learning experiences shown through official Minecraft orientated worlds.
These maps have been partnered with professors and legitimate professionals to be filled with intriguing guides and all-rounder facts, demonstrations and diagrams to help show you a deeper understanding and dive into your preferred topic of choice whether it’s biology, astrology or geography.
Countries Of The World
The first map created by 360Studios describes and shows all the countries of the world and their environments through the eyes of Minecraft. Each country comes tailored with its own landmarks and world wonders with approximate scale and size to properly demonstrate the scope of how they would look if you were to see them in real life.
Countries have been color coded and simplified to allow children and adults easier understanding of where countries are on the map to help better educate them on geography and country placement.
2. Great Fire 1666: The Fire of London
This map takes the user back in time to the 2 September 1666 in London, when a spark falls from a baker's oven in Pudding Lane starting a fire that erupts through the city. Experience the story like never before as you interact with the map to help put out the fire, rescue Londoner's possessions and blow-up debris to try and save the city from the Great Fire of London.

This map was created to spread awareness of the ongoing poaching crisis that Africa still suffers from. The map was created to show why poaching happens, the damage that it causes to the African ecosystem and its wildlife and to send a message that poaching is forbidden and met with harsh punishments from the rangers of African sanctuary protectors.

The “National Flags” map is a helpful guide to showing you not just all national flags but also the national individual flags that make the terrains of separate countries. With built in looms to tell you how to create the Signs and symbols yourself with factoids that pop up explaining the history of how they were inspired and created.
5. Tate Worlds: Soul of the Soulless City
In this map you deboard a train and enter 1920s New York as an immigrant. With its emerging skyscrapers and railways revolutionized the concepts of what a modern metropolis is. It was inspired by the renowned British artist Christopher Nevinson who painted his futuristic styled painting of New York “Soul of the Soulless City" in 1920.
