Alpine F1 team announce new strategical partnership

BWT Alpine Formula One (F1) team today announced they have partnered up  with Renault Group and ENI. They are reuniting in a new strategic partnership  on a multi-year agreement. This marks a return to Enstone for ENI since the  brand’s last involvement with a team in Formula One with Benetton in 2000. 

The agreement will identify and develop future opportunities for collaboration  in decarbonising the transport sector, as the Italian company, ENI becomes the official energy and fuel partner. 

Flavio Briatore, Executive Advisor at BWT Alpine F1 team, said: “It is with  immense pride that we welcome Eni back to Formula One with BWT Alpine  Formula One Team.” 

Associating with BWT Alpine F1 team to activate its Enilive brand at chosen  races throughout the 2025 season. 

As a highly valued partner, Eni branding will be noticeable on the A525, the team’s challenger for the upcoming FIA Formula One World Championship. It will also  feature on the race overalls and helmets of its full roster of drivers. This will  be revealed at the F175 launch event at the O2 Arena in London next Tuesday.

ENI’s presence will further extend to the pit stop crew and throughout the  entire BWT Alpine F1 team. 

Claudio Descalzi, Chief Executive Officer of Eni, said: “Through BWT Alpine  Formula One Team is equally important as it reflects F1’s continuous pursuit of  absolute technological excellence in engine development and performance.” 

This will include future collaborations aimed at evaluating and examining  innovations in fuel technologies, with the development of bio-gasoline for racing  at the peak of motorsport.

Under the terms of the arrangement to identifying joint business growth paths  across various sectors, which includes electric mobility infrastructure, smart  mobility and energy supply solutions that can assist the transition process. A  first physical achievement of the agreement will be the purchase of Renault  vehicles by Enjoy, Enilive’s car sharing service.
