Not a comedy fan? Glasgow International Comedy Festival is hosting a range of separate events to ensure city-wide participation. These will include live podcasts, comedy pub quizzes and roast battles, with further events to be announced shortly.

Comedy acts from across the world will be getting involved, with headline acts to include Marjolein Robertson, Russell Kane, Paul Black and Here Comes The Guillotine Live, with more than 550 shows to choose from.

Companies across the city have stepped up to play their part when the festival is in town by offering a variety of discounts to ticket holders.

First bus is offering free travel to those taking public transport to the festival. This can be accessed by using the promo code received from GICF via email and using it on the First Bus app.

AC by Marriott, Ibis Styles Glasgow, Sandman Signature Hotel Glasgow and Radisson Blu Glasgow are offering discounts to guests, the codes required and information about how to book can be found on the Glasgow Comedy Festival website.
